Pension Planner

The Pension Planner is a modelling tool which illustrates the impact of making changes to your retirement plan (for example altering your contribution rate, planned retirement age, or the amount you would like to receive once you retire).

The information shown in the pension planner is for illustration purposes only and is not to be taken as any sort of promise or guarantee that a pension will be paid at the rate shown. It should not be used as the sole basis for reviewing your pension arrangements.

For simplicity, a single rate of return on investments has been used and no allowance has been made for the different risk and return characteristics of your own investment strategy.

Among other factors, your eventual pension will depend on:

  • When you actually retire and start drawing your pension
  • The actual contributions made
  • The way your fund is invested and the investment growth it achieves
  • How much it costs to buy a pension when you retire
  • What type of increases and level of dependant's benefits you select at retirement

A small change in any of the assumptions can have a substantial effect on the illustration. This illustration is not appropriate for use outside the United Kingdom.

You can access the pension planner via the portal.
